They actually came a-<i>yoohooing, </i>wierdly, and forewent the knock. I never know that it’s them when they come; I always think that it’s some gimpy-looking neighbor who I’ve never met, and so I never hide, because who would hide from a gimpy neighbor? So I opened the door, and this horrible-looking man inquired if I believed in the True God Jesus Christ while his horrible-looking female friend bared her gums at me, pointing at my Christmas lights and my tiny Trader Joe’s tree with a UCLA 2009 ornament perched on top of it like a little hat, and I just bellowed “NO THANK YOU I AM JEWISH!” and slammed the door. The poor jerks must take advantage of this time of year to cherry-pick the houses with lights on them to avoid just such door-slamming, and I must have misled them with my holiday cheer. The other night I found a Jenga piece in a whole set of tagged-up Jenga in a bar that said “Sofa King” on one side and “Penis” on the other in the same handwriting, and I can’t scan this fantastic artifact to put up for all to see because I can’t learn to scan intuitively as I thought I would be able to when I got this scanner-printer without the manual. Shouldn’t any person born after 1980 be able to just learn how to scan intuitively? There are fucking cat poops and glitter dunes all over my god damn house.
